Sluttyween

That's the new name for Halloween. We went out Saturday night in San Francisco for a Halloween party and it seemed that one of the most popular costumes for women is to take whatever costume and make it slutty. We saw a slutty schoolgirl, slutty spacewoman, slutty clown, slutty Dorothy, slutty witch, and more than I can remember. Not that I'm complaining but it was to be noted.

Veronica did some last minute shopping and found two costumes for us that turned out pretty well. We went as Shaggy and Velma from Scooby Doo. Carolina went as a spider queen. We stopped by the Castro but not much was happening. Tuesday night should be the big night for that. I'm not sure if we're going yet but it's something that should be experienced.

Local Inferno

This building across the street from my office caught on fire today. It was a pretty impressive and spread quickly. It went from one corner and then took up the whole roof. I had to leave to get a haircut and barely made it out before things got crazy with the firetrucks and closing off the streets. I got a few pictures at the beginning and then after it was put out.
