So, apparently this is National Blog Posting Month, a.k.a. NaBloPoMo. It's also Pancreatic Cancer Awareness Month, National Novel Writing Month, Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month, and National Homeless Youth Awareness Month but I think I'll just deal with the first. The goal is to blog everyday for the month. So here it goes:
I voted yesterday and am happy to have gotten it over with. I fear that the lines on Tuesday may be out of control as a record turnout makes an election day to remember. I'm trying not to feel too anxious but it's hard not to; I'm ready for it to be all over. No more polls, no more attack ads, name calling, or the first names of people followed by their occupation. I am hoping that the 4th will be a time of celebration as history is made.
